Placing a Turnitin Order
Get a similarity or AI detection report in as little as 10 minutes.
Step-by-step

Click "New Order"
Locate the New Order button in the top-right area of the header on any dashboard page, then choose Turnitin Reports on the order form.

Enter your word count
Type in the total word count of the document you're submitting. The minimum accepted is 300 words and the maximum is 29,000 words per document.

Select a report type
Choose what you need: Similarity (compares against the Turnitin database), AI (detects AI-generated content), or Both (runs both checks in a single submission).

Set the number of reports
If you have multiple documents to check, increase the report count. The price updates instantly. Automatic bulk discounts apply for every 5 reports ordered.

Upload your document(s)
Attach one file per report slot. Accepted file types are .doc, .docx, and .pdf. Each file should match the word count you entered.

Add instructions (optional)
Use the Instructions field to leave any notes for the admin — such as specific context about your document or any special requirements.

Apply a coupon code (optional)
Have a discount code? Enter it in the Coupon Code field and click Apply. The saving is reflected immediately in the price summary.

Confirm your order and pay
Review the final total, then click Place Order. A secure payment window will open — complete payment by card or Apple Pay. If your credit balance covers the cost, it is deducted automatically without opening a payment window.
Report types explained
Similarity
Compares your document against the full Turnitin database and returns a similarity percentage along with a breakdown of matched sources.
AI Detection
Identifies the proportion of your document that may have been written by an AI tool and returns an AI percentage score.
Both
Runs both the similarity check and AI detection on the same document in a single submission — the most complete option if you need both scores.
Payment options
Card / Apple Pay
Secure payment processed at checkout. No card details are stored on our servers.
Credits
If your credit balance is sufficient, the cost is deducted automatically. No payment window opens.
What happens after you order?
High similarity or AI score?
If your results show a similarity score above 20% or an AI score above 20%, a suggestion will appear to place an Editing Service order to help bring those scores down before submission. You can accept or dismiss the suggestion.
